Dublin City should just accept their lot & keep their mounths shut from now on.

I can't see what the hassle is over the whole affair & its beyond me how Dub City think they due a replay. If they get their game replayed means Pats could ask for all 5 of the Livingstone games to be replayed. Other sports regularily deduct points for unregistered players & don't replay games. Sure even the FAI have deducted points for unregistered players in the past & haven't replayed games.

If the league caves on this one it might as well not bother with next season.

Well said Pete. The rule book states that 3 points must be deducted for every game & a fine IR£1000 max. There is no mention of a replay in the rule book so DC haven't a leg to stand on & they are only costing other clubs money.

Dublin City's behaviour in this has been blatant and shameless opportunism. The FAI should have told them where to stick their appeal and let the playoff go ahead.
