This case was known about at the time he took over. But of course it suited (some) Waterford fans to believe they were just trumped up charges and nothing to be concerned about. I'm sure he'll appoint someone to run things for him. Does the licensing process have any consideration of the fit and proper nature of owners? I assume not?

Only suitable punishment is they forfeit their next game 3-0 imo

The majority of Limerick FC owners led me to believe the purpose of the licensing process was to EXCLUDE people of a fit and proper nature tbh.

Former Waterford chairman and son of Colchester owner/chairman Mitchell Cowling has made claims to the daily mirror he has made an offer to buy the club. I think he MAY have been person to recruit Patterson and Junior.

Red flags instantly as he mentions wanting to rehire Bircham as manager…. Which is silly talk considering the management setup we have right now.

So what happens re Waterford if this guy does time? Would the club be at risk of being deemed an 'ill-gotten gain', and therefore potentially used to help repay those it is alleged he defrauded?

Interesting strategy to bribe for a guilty verdict potentially forcing a mistrial - less obvious than a bunch of not guilty jurors, i think. Very little makes obvious sense with this guy.
