Will be interesting to see the line-up selected tomorrow, after Billy Dennehy took aim at the senior players in his press conference, and suggested he may opt to continue with the youth policy for the coming weeks. The Midlanders have certainly been in excellent form in recent weeks, with the narrow defeat to Treaty last Friday preceded by convincing wins over Harps and Wexford, with Haitian hotshot Frantz Pierrot very much to the fore in those displays. The second half display at Longford will give Kerry reasons for hope, but the failure to learn from previous defensive displays has been at the heart of the manager's frustration.

Hopefully the senior players will respond in the right way to Billy's fair and valid criticism. A team can be successful in the First Division by being good at defending corners and a threat when attacking from their own corners. Kerry are gifting opponents easy goals. It has to stop.

4 changes from last week. The 4 players dropped haven't even made the bench. 3 were taken off at half-time last week.

And with Aaron O'Sullivan making his debut between the sticks, I believe that means only Conor Buckley has yet to get any minutes this season.

Apart from Carey and Ankomah - can they really still be injured since February?
