Congratulations to Dundalk on their superb performance and victory. The football, attendance and atmosphere were all a great advertisement for domestic soccer. Dundalk will only be cup champions for 6 months as the next fai cup final takes place on the October bank holiday weekend.

Nice sunny day for the game. decent coverage for once by RTE with proper buildup etc.....

Dundalk probably deserved the win but sending off was a bit harsh & could have made all the difference.

IMO Tolka not the best place in the long term fot the final. If has to stay in dublin Dalymount probably be better in a few years for with bigger pitch etc... If could get 20k at think Lansdowne (big ground would atract more neutra;ls but maybe not enough) would be best option.
