Cobh result isn't really a shock at all. I am disappionted that they lost. Kilkenny are after really coming on as a team. I think they will keep doing well for the rest of the season. Rams promation hopes are fading. :(

Ya kilkenny have only lost to us in there last 8 games.Teams are starting to hit and loose form now at the crucial part of the season.A win for us tommorow and a win over Athlone, our game in hand, would see us move to 3rd place only 8 pts behind Sligo who seem to have lost there form big time.Kildare are creeping up a liitle but tbh i think Dublin will win the league and it's between Sligo, cobh,Kildare and ourselves for 2nd.Limerick are no longer a threat.

Cobh's season will be decided within the next 2 weeks. They play Sligo Rovers at home next week and Dublin City away after that. I think Monaghan United away is before Dublin City not too sure. Rams need 7pts out of 9 to have any hope of challangeing.

just wondering isn't that 6 wins from 7 for Kilkenny now, only five points behind cobh and limerick in third / fourth place. and two behind kildare and dundalk.

To be honest, from what i have seen this year, the two best sides in the division are the two at the top of the league, and with Waterford seemingly trying to self destruct, i'd fancy either of these sides in a play off with Harps or Waterford, and maybe even Rovers. Sligo need to start gaining points again, a poor run of form, could see them three points off the top by five o clock tomorrow, unless their connacht neighbours can do them a favour.

to be honest, i think the teams that have a chance of catching either Dublin City or Sligo Rovers are Cobh, Limerick, Kildare & Kilkenny. Dundalk are resilient and will always battle for points, and Galway are very inconsistent. if they can sort that out, they might challenge. Monaghan are very poor, and Athlone need a miracle for this season, although i believe that with John Gill in charge, Athlone will be in the shake up for the first division over the next two years or so.

I think Cobh have had an excellent season to date, and have exceeded everyone (& probably their own) expectations, and seem to have faded a little over the last few weeks, but never write off anyone, Dublin City were even less fancied two years ago.

I wouldn't rule Kilkenny out yet. If they keep this form up they won't be far away, especially with Sligo's dodgy form.

Sligo Rovers 1-Limerick 1: :)It's really sad that you hate us so much. I mean just cos we're better than ye and have more support than ye and a better stadium than ye and also in a better league position than ye, why? It's just pure jealousy in my opinion :)
