Average Attendances 2004 to 2023

I've put together the average attendances from 2004 season until 2023 (as of R11 PD / R10 FD)

Big shout out to two particular users on this forum (pinapple stu & nigel-harps1954) for their work over the years and all the others who contributed each week to getting these figures from a time where the league wasn't publishing as they are now.

Huge improvements for the league. Tracking at 1000 increase across both leagues (*the league average figures don't include defunct clubs from previous seasons, which if anything probably would pull previous averages down). There is 1500 supporter increase in the Premier Division while the First Division is getting double what it was in 2004.

I'll update at the end of the season and each season there after...

Rovers had highest attendance fig at 3884 in 2019, that would be 5th now and not far ahead of two others

Great compilation!
- Bohs are getting 2000 more on average than during their peak in 2004 and 2009.
- Shels getting well over 1000 more now than peak years too.
- Pats getting 2500-3000 more than normal this year.
- Waterford and Finn Harps getting nearly bigger crowds in First division this year than when they were in the Premier!
- Rovers getting 2500 more than peak Michael ON years.
- Most clubs getting their biggest recorded avg crowd on record!

Incredible increases all round.

Brilliant increases across the board. Thank god Jonathan Gabay saved this league by helping the Irish public realise its ‘not that bleak’ ;)

Made a slight error with Sligo Rovers 2010 that should be 1807 rather than 1087.
