It's a big step up from the level he was playing before Christmas on loan frommoldham

Glowing reports for his debut - seem to think he could feature regularly next season. Great to see a young creative Trafford lad emerge for us - like the second coming of John Sheridan…

Rosenior likes him a lot and promoted him to the senior team within a month of joining. Gave him some hug when he got subbed off last night.

Played the full 90 today in their 1-0 win over Watford. If the U21s have a training camp this June might see himself getting called up. Rosenior likes him which might see Vaughan continue to get game time next season or a decent loan.

Heard from a player in the 21s that the 21s were definitely having camp, either in Spain or Austria (I think) and they’d play 1 or 2 friendlies - one of which was gonna be against Saudi Arabia u23s and he hadn’t heard if another game was confirmed or who it was against.

Conversation was in the context of him telling me what a great influence Cannon was on the whole squad and how well he trained and how good his attitude was and just generally a good likeable lad. Reassuring things to hear. Basically often players come in, once they’re doing well in the championship, thinking they’re a bit above it all - but in this instance he was pushing everyone and leading by example.

Probably Spain as Crawford had a training camp his first year in Marbella where we played three games. Australia U23s, Switzerland U21s, and Denmark U21s. Saudi Arabia are defending U23 Asian Cup champions so would be a tough game. Good to hear about Cannon but hopefully he's in the seniors come this summer.

Seems to be popular with Hull City fans after just a few first team appearances. "After another impressive display in just his fourth Championship outing, ( v Swansea) Vaughan was taken off in the closing stages to a standing ovation from the 23,000 or so home fans inside the MKM". (Hull Live, 2 May.)

Starts the first game of the season against Norwich. Connolly on the bench for Hull with Duffy starting for Norwich and both Idah and Omobamidele on the bench.

Only saw the first half yesterday but he played well on the left of a midfield 4. Doesn't have the pace to be a winger but very neat on the ball

Reminds me a little of Harvey Elliott in a few ways any time I have seen him. Likes the wider areas of midfield and can do good work in those pockets. Difficult to see him becoming a wide forward player, however, due to lack of threatening pace and power.

Elliott has managed to figure that out of late for Liverpool and is coming up with some good goals and assists through pressure from the number 8 position.
