Congratulations on doing Irish football proud yet again last night.

Can someone explain what happens next, if ye do progress. Is it the UEFA Cup proper, or is there another qualifying round? If its the UEFA proper, is it a group stage thingy?? If it is, then surely won't that take ye're eye off the main objective...the league title??

UEFA Cup 'proper' but there's a round before the groups.

If they go through, they go into the first round proper (where Shelbourne met Lille last year), where earned co-efficient points are higher, and they can also earn a club co-efficient. Progression through that is the group stage! Which is a guaranteed 4 games I think, 2 home, 2 away, and a nice prize fund!! Then quarter final etc... ;)

I can't congratulate Cork enough on last night, absolutely fantastic. Once again doing us all proud, very well done! :)

One game at a time folks.

When i'm supporting the league i look at co-efficients but as a City fan i look at progression.

Hopefully we can get some Swedish TV money for 2nd leg as European travels are expensive for the club although when travel & prepare properly.

We've beaten Gothenberg & Malmo at home in past so here hoping for hattrick :D

Just looking at the list, Hibernian would be a good draw as city have already beaten them this year (on pens)!

Hibs wouldn't be seeded though would they?

EnDai

A close draw would also allow easy travel of fans. Even I'll be going I think if they make it and get a reasonable away draw. Make a wee holiday out of it ya know?! ;) :D

They'll be watching in the pub as won't get than many tickets.

Anyone know the Uefa away fan allocation rules?

You sure about that? Thought it was 15% of the stadium or something like that, that they're entitled to!

EnDai

Think 10% is the lowest amount they cna be allocated!

crc

The UEFA capacity at the Cross is 5,885.

10% would give them 588
15% would give them 883

No point worrying about any of that just yet. Fenn said their movement was frightening. Given the level he has played at it is an indication of the task City still face. If they underestimated us they wont next time. I dont want to seem like a killjoy but lets worry about who we might play if we win the tie. They will still be favorites to qualify with the bookies. Anyway its Shels first.
