So what was the final tally, Derek? I'd like to believe that any given Dublin City selection would amass double figures in this kind of fixture.

6:0 to Dublin City was the final score, although St Pauls put up a good show in the first half only loosing the it by 2:0. The fitness showed in the second, Dublin almost walked around with the ball. but then Dublin are half way through the season and St Pauls and only back training three weeks. But that being said I felt the worst was going to happen when one of the St Paul's players during the pre-match warm-up asked me for a light, and I don't think he needed to be shown the way as it wasn't dark!

I only caught the tail end of the game, but it seemed like Ben and Brendan along with the other defenders were just toying with the St. Pauls lads. fair play to Scott Gilchrist who knocked in five goals for the Vikings. Trevor got the other one, just for the record.

Who's Gilchrist, an Under-21? It seems Trevor is beginning to find his level at last! (College kids and AUL Premier C players.)

While Trev's form has dipped he showed some lovely touches, he was never once out of breath but his position and passing was fantastic.

"Dipped", Derek? It's practically subterranean. :eek:

He's always had a decent touch, he just doesn't possess the requisite speed of thought or movement with which to complement it.
