I do not think boro will last the pace they'll drop too many points over the rest of the season to mount a serious challenge. Still see the major threats coming from carew park & balla. It will come down to the match's between tem and pike. If pike stay unbeaten against those 2 they will def win it out. They were the easily the best team in town last year and should have won it

ok I agree that last year was a bit ridiculous regarding the games we had in hand, but we still had to win those games. we deserve some bit of credit for that...its in the past now lets move on

Park have 2 wins from their last 2 games... They are missing Shane O'Connor though as he is away for the weekend. Big loss but I still fancy Park to get a draw...

O Connor will be a big loss to Park esp against a good Boro side. 2 wins on the bounce for Park though - they are starting to get a bit of momentum together esp after the loss of so many players for different reasons. I cant see them having any problems with relegation though, especially after Hill's loss at the weekend.

for all carew's great cup runs they still have won zilch in the last few seasons.
if they are serious about winning a league then nothing less then 3 points will suffice on sunday.
word has it that they may field the same eleven as last week for the first time this season !

Even if Carew beat Pike on Sunday they are still 11 pts behind with 2 games in hand, which would bring them to within 5 pts of Pike,

I cant see Pike dropping that many points between now and the end of the season.

The league is between Pike and the Boro, and Jason O'Conner (if playing) along with Bubbles and Lou Quigley could do their old club (The Boro) a big favour this weekend by beating Pike.

Top 3 all lost. Carew have alot to do to catch pike still. They were outplayed for long stretches of the game and weren't very impressive it has to be said against a pike team not playing well. Pike missed lots of chances yesterday but I think they will still win the league, but will need to get over the FAI loss quickly.
