Would've said Harps up til saturday as they were the worst team id seen this season when we played them in united park. Played well on saturday though and they might just have enough graft in them to stay up. So I reckon waterford could go down.

Rovers will defo stay up (and will finish at worst, 3rd from bottom)

I think if waterford had someone to put the ball in the net
they would have taken the three points on Friday!
Plus two penalty decisions went against them the first was a definite penalty
You cant legislate for that!
So I would say Rovers,Waterford and Harps can all still go
Especially since avoiding relagation sometimes comes down to who has the momentum near the end of the season not now!

The next few weeks of our season will see if we can stay up, we have to play Harps, St. Pats and UCD within the next month. The way we have been playing lately we can win all 3 matches, but thats our problem, we are far to inconsistant this season - great results followed by very poor defeats

How many times have I said it?

Most important match this season will be Harps-Bray at Finn Park in November. I'm telling you. Hopefully we'll be safe but I've got a funny feeling bout that match....

Waterford are by far the worst team Ive seen so far this season and Im certain they will be relegated. Hopefully Harps can get out of trouble. I'd have to go with Bray to be in the play off.

Eanna, what the fvck is wrong with you? I know the tone you said it in and then you have the cheek to come crawling back to me or any one of us on the BTID website and be all love dovey.

Has it ever occured to you that if we do go down, your local derby will be against Pats in Inchicore. FFS it makes sense to see the progression of Munster clubs in order to build and promote eL soccer in the province, same goes for Cobh and Limerick. Its a pity that small & narrow minded arrogant twits like you cant see the bigger picture and are taking pleasure in seeing us in our current predicament. I'm not a bitter person and I would like to see Cork win the league but the attitude coming from you lot is starting to leave a bitter taste in my mouth.

Eanna, what the fvck is wrong with you?
In fairness, which part of his comment are you disagreeing with?

No money, no fans, crap players, crap ground.
No money - obviously true.
Crap players - True, otherwise they'd have won since April.
Crap ground - True, though you're not alone on this.
No fans - Bit of an exaggeration, but still one of the lowest averages in the Premier.

Hardly controversial...

get over yourself. I've said time and again that I'd love to see Waterford (or any munster club) have a strong team and challenge for honours, but your club is a mess. Its unfortunate, but its fact.

I don't know about other City fans, but I hope ye guys stay up. I know the RSC is'nt a nice ground, but I love going down there for Munster Derbys. Their is always a great athmosphare down there and thats what makes derbys special. I think ye will find it very hard to stay up.

I think Waterford will go down.

They are an awful team. Everything went wrong after Ger O'Brien left. You cant sell all your best players and expect to stay up.

The reason I say Waterford is becuase they are the only team between Rovers, Harps and themselves that look like they stuggle to put the ball in the net.

Positives - for them are Colm Heffernan and Mulcahy.

Negatives - ****e stadium for creating winning atmosphere and no money.

Would like to see harps stay up but not looking good , looking like a battle of the Rovers in the playoff with Shams staying up due to controversial referreing decisions.

James
17/08/2005, 1:50 PM
im convinced shels will be relegated
the team of thugs has bottled it
they are ruddorless

a bunch of overpaid players with no heart or loyalty to 'their club'.. mercenaries like

a manager who has lost the plot.. bringing on that 17year old kid on monday when you had an ex irish international on the bench let alone bobby ryan!

a chairman who by all accounts is a thug!

no fans

soon to be homeless

the longer the season goes on the worse it gets for the $heliban

bye bye :D
