The future development of Mounthawk Park will be an interesting consideration, both in terms of whether the current attendance levels can be maintained, but also ensuring compliance with FAI licensing standards for seasons to come. Of course it then becomes a question of what level of development would be financially sustainable if/when support begins to lag, but 1,800-2,000 should cover most scenarios, and all league games.

I was thinking that the other day. There is definitely room to grow the capacity. To be fair to the Kerry FC lads in the US, they have invested quite a lot to get it to where it is now and I am sure it is something they had planned to do further down the line.

With the demand for tickets extremely high, it shows for now anyway, that the first game was not a one off big crowd. You can see there is a real run for match day tickets. It is the only National Sporting event in Kerry twice a month on a Friday night for people to watch. These are very good complaints, Im just glad I got my season ticket and dont have to worry :)

It's hard to gauge. Given the current capacity has sufficed to date for the KDL, you'd imagine the capacity would have to be at least doubled. The seated stand being extended for the full length of the pitch and whatever necessary terraces for reasonable demand.
The current demand is high, which is great. It remains to be seen if this can be maintained over the course of the season.

With crowds stabilising around 600-700 currently, it'll be interesting to hear what the future development plans are for Mounthawk Park, if any. The main stand extended for the full length of the pitch should be the initial target, increasing the main stand from 500 to 1000-1200. Funding of course is key. Where did funding come from for the current main stand? I'd imagine funding from local businesses and local council grants will be the main source of funding.

There was a recent article by a government TD encouraging more soccer clubs to apply for development grants. Wouldn't take much for crowds to return to four figures if the side either found any consistency, or drew a Premier club in the last 16 of the cup.
