Thanks. What ones are being re-released? I only have One Nation..... and a Greatest Hits compilation. The one I want is the one with Take It To The Stage.

It's either Standing On The Verge of Getting It On or Tales Of Kidd Funkadelic. Take It To The Stage is a deadly song, funny too.
The live version of Maggot Brain is really good too. Who did the solo on that song? Was it Bootsy?
Their pre-Warner Bros. stuff is suppoesd to be their best. One Nation.... is definitely worth getting.

Bootsy's Rubber Band are another good side venture. I'm pretty sure he had a single as recently as 2004.
I haven't heard the other groups but there must've been four or five bands from the original group "The Parliaments". The weird thing is they started out as a barbershop group.

I got the copy of "Let's Take It To The Stage". It's a classic.
I'll leave with these words of wisdom: "The doorman said: No head, no backstage pass."

Ok.. get with the programme.....
Funkadelic hit song " One Nation Under a Groove"
Mid 1990's hit song by Black female vocal group " Free your Mind and the rest will follow" ; which was based on mid 1970's US Black Ghetto streetspeak " Free Your Mind and Your Ass will follow"...
Put em all together and what do you get?
