Two League players in under-21 squad

Don Givens has named an 18 man squad for this month's under-21 international friendly against Northern Ireland. The game will take place at Mourneview Park, Lurgan on Tuesday, 16th August.

Cork City's Roy O'Donovan and Longford Town's Stephen Paisley are the only domestically based players in the squad while recently departed Kevin Doyle and Daryl Murphy are both included.

Aiden McGeady must be content with another outing with the under-age side and will obviously not be part of Brian Kerr's senior squad, to be announced this afternoon.
