Sky only have ITV 3. If you scan around the web you might find a way to tune it in to a Sky box temporarily but that's not allowed. I remember once we had a lad out from Sky to install a 2nd box and he found all the channels on my 1st box. He said "Ah ah ah, I don't think so" and deleted them. :p

sky dont have any games after there sales man telling me they would have every champs league game on you just choose with the red button .
the only channel showing it is itv 2

I couldn't be arsed to be honest. You never use them as they're out of the way to access. He was quite sound to be fair to him. He added a load of channels I was allowed to have. Mainly BBC though. I think ITV changes frequencies often. I'm not even sure if you can get it anymore.

Guy 'phoned me the other week trying to sell Sky to me (I have NTL digital). I told him I wasn't interested until they get ITV and Channel 4. He maintained they have that now, even in Ireland.
Is this true?
Do they have those channels on Sky in the UK?

To the best of my knowledge that's a lie. There's ITV 3 alright. But no 1 or 2 and only E4 but no CH4.

Yeah, learnt this evening that people in Monaghan can get freeview (so long as they're not the wrong side of a drumlin), digital through the aerial. Must set it up on my Mam's telly.

If you have a dish you can buy a card on e-bay for about €20 that can hook you up to ITV2.

Check this site out for tuning in extra channels on the sky digital:
http://www.wildsat.com/
(Sky digital here is Astra: http://www.wildsat.com/astra.htm)
12422 H (channel called '7521' is Channel 4)
Think these may be BBC3/4
10773H
10803H
Symbol rate: 22
FEC: 5/6
To find channels:
Select Services.
Select Add Channels.
Enter the first frequencies by typing the figures in with the key pad.
Change the symbol and FEC Rate and choose find channels. A list of channels will come up and you have to press one of the colour buttons (it will tell you) to add the channels.
Then to view the channels you have to go into services (each time you want to look at the channel), other channels and select the one you want.

i can understand it if both games were on at the same time , liverpool would have a bigger audience in ireland same with utd , but everton are on tonight the 9th of august liverpool are on wens the 24th of august , not exsactly a clash of times !!.
surely there are more utd fans now than liverpool anyway and all neutrals would prefere to watch utd arse or chelsea before either everton or liverpool

the same arsenal who underperform every year in the champs league? the same chelsea who couldnt score one single goal against liverpool over 2 matches? and the same liverpool who came from 3 nil down to create the greatest champions league final ever?
stop wearing your everton bobble hat and talking bull.

I doubt that.
I'm a Manchester United fan, but I'd sooner watch Everton -v- Villareal tonight.
