the begging starts so again doubt if any of the clubs will bk them again its a joke heard theres an objection in against ul as well?

they will forget all the animosity they have towards practically every club in
limerick now and go cap in hand, how many times is that now they have fell
flat on their face

stop trying to get ANOTHER bandwagon going thats what nearly finished
this site last year,a friend of a ballyheane player is going to college in ul
and he was at ulaa match when the player was sent off thats how they know
and he could,nt have served his ban cos he was sent off the week before
the bally game.
Let get one thing clear Ballyheane did not pursue or try to win the game by default they were happy on the day with the result.
someone from the Limerick camp phone the Ballyheane secretary regard to players that should not have been playing, no names were mentioned.
Ballyheane decided they had no grounds for protest
end of matter
if someone from Limerick want to plot copys then so be it.

Crystal should win this, Salthill are in shocking form at the moment....they have lost 3 on the bounce against mediocre opposition

the country and a strong back four, and with that deaf striker up

totally agree with you ,i was at the pike game down there and i must say
he is the most assured and confident junior keeper i have seen in a long
time, the carrick lads were telling me that he is supposed to be going to
cork city at the end of the junior season ,in my opinion he would easily hold his own.

The two guys are very good keepers, but i think Adrian has been the best junior keeper in the country for the last three years or so. He could easily step up to league of Ireland, it just goes to show that the best players don't always get picked. I suppose he does'nt live in Dublin though!!

Point taken with the Ballymun keeper getting the Junior award at the FAI International Awards last night. The AUL is not the be all and end all of junior football in the country.

3 things

1. Dave Conroy is no longer the Ballymun Keeper, he signed for Dublin City last week.

2. He has been the best keeper in the country for at least 5 years so this is a well deserved award, he is a superb keeper and could have gone to a higher level many times over the last few years. (And I'm a portmarnock man so no accusations of bias please).

3. The Junior Award has gone outside Dublin many times in the last few years, check the records. A few jealous heads around here about the Dublin AUL I reckon ....?

i have nothing to do with the aul but there are deffo people jealous....why wouldn't they be....they have everything up there to compare to any other league
imo the only thing better about the aul is the trip aboad for the league winners

I know this is FAI Junior thread so i'll leave with this..

facilities alot better than anywhere else in the country.
looked after after every game in the aul complex,
lots more sponsorship.
awards for man of the match.
trip abroad for league winners.
in the spotlight to impress irish junior manager most weeks.
The list could go on and on.
as i said its only my opinion, what i wouldn't give for a bag of nivea moisturiser as reward for my efforts on the pitch,we can only dream!:D :p

Adrian walsh is a good keeper but lacks the presence of a TOP class keeper.. he is too small and is prone to mistakes..just think back on the munster semi final last year against Clonmel town.. also with regard to Junior international players.. no stone is left unturned by Gerry smith to uncover talent.. for example he has travelled to kerry/cork on the word of someone to have a look.. with regard to junior international player of the year its not all Dub's james walsh from St Michaels tipp was named last year and has been named as captain of both the junior/Amateur Teams ahead of all the dubs involved but junior and intermediate..

Kevin Fitzpatrick for pike this year is surely up there and deserves a mention, Has pulled off some vital saves for pike this season. Made a great save with his left sidelock yesterday had to be seen to be believed.........

Have to agree with you there Dirk, spot on kevin has been in great form this season. Is it true Declan Considine is getting another cap. He'll be the oldest player to ever represent Ireland....at any level, including the over 40's!
