Manchester United striker Ole Gunnar Solskjaer could be in line for a surprise return to first-team action in time for the Premiership opener against Everton on August 13.
The ever-popular Norwegian hit-man has not played for Sir Alex Ferguson's side since the 2004 FA Cup final victory over Millwall after struggling with a serious knee injury.
