View Full Version : Peter Kioso (D Rotherham b. 1999)
Made his first start of the season after signing for Rotherham this summer. Made two sub appearences during the first week of the season and picked up a groin injury. Returned from that mid October and then picked up an ankle injury in a reserve game which kept him out for two weeks.

On the bench for Rotherham, away to 'Boro today, after 27 starts in all competitions for Peterborough (EFL 1) in the first half of the season.

Rated 7/10 in the Oxford Mail (20 Oct) after his duel with WBA's Karlan Grant; 8 full Championship games in succession at Right Back.

Kioso is with DR Congo now. Technically not tied to them yet as he was not capped in their recent internationals despite being in the squad, but it's presumably a matter of time.
Might have been worth a look at right back from an Irish point of view at some point in the last few years, but no more or less so than the likes of Dan McNamara or Josh Key. None of the three have done enough to date to really demand a call up for Ireland, and that ship has almost certainly sailed now for Kioso.

Jimmy Dunne another option. Although he is back centre half the last few games after they took Harrison Ashby on loan from Newcastle.
