Couldn't find a thread for Wright. Have seen some comments about him that seemed decidedly unenthusiastic about him but he was joint top scorer for the U21s and scored his second in two games today for Bradford: https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/63017674
So what is it about him? Does he have attributes that indicate he could make it as a senior international?

He's a capable winger at around League 2 level, has had a few loans there now. But if he's to have a longer term future at a decent level he'll probably need to be able to play left wing back as well as I'm not sure how much demand there is these days for out and out wingers that don't also play either centre forward or wing back. Obviously he played there last week for the Under 21s but I don't think it was a successful selection.
Has plenty to prove at this stage I'd say.

Mark Hughes is managing Bradford this season, big club at that level, a former PL one & showing promotion form although it's early days.

It's his last year under contract so needs a strong year to hopefully get a contract somewhere next season left foot bit of pace and good physically should give him a chance of a career in the lower leagues which would be a great achievement

He's a bit of an enigma. Good pace and can be quite inventive, but his final ball and decision making are a bit suspect. I think he could be a bit braver in the tackle too. For the 21s, as frustrating as he can be at time, he's often the one most likely to make something happen, he's hard to defend against with his pace and I think he gets some undue criticism. I can see him having a good career and maybe even playing in a top half championship side. He's probably unlikely to be a premier league player.

terrible defending for that goal dear god.i'll be interested to see where he ends up after this summer. Personally think he'd be better off with being in LOI for a season with someone like derry who'll be challenging. Chance to get goal/assist numbers up and put himself back in the shop window, hes still young.
Has been recalled from loan as Plymouth are set to buy him from Villa.
A really good move for him if he can break into the starting team. Since he seemed to be doing at L2 I would have expected him to go on loan in L1 at the beginning of next season.
Now there's a very decent chance he'll be a Championship player next season. If he can play 25+ games in the Championship it'd be great experience for such a young player.
Hopefully Azaz can do the same next season too. It's always nice when a couple of Irish lads are at the one club, means there's less LiveScore to check every weekend!
Has made 6 appearances for Plymouth this season and a grand total of 230ish minutes. Mostly as a substitute and I think one start where he came off at halftime.
Saw his name in the report for their loss tonight where he was fouled after just coming on in the lead up Milwalls second goal in injury time.
Good to see him at this level and will be interesting to see if he can make strides there over the course of the season. Just turned 22.
(searched and didn’t see a player thread for him)

There's an index for player threads in the stickied post at the top of the first page Stu
Thanks - sorry about that. I did a search but didn’t think to look in that thread.
