Apparently AJ has withdrawn his transfer request - has had a change of heart and wants to get palace back to the Premiership. Also gonna sign an extension to his contract


press conference in the morning at 9

fair play..lot of loyalty there...also fair play to simon jordan for holding onto him and not giving into the big bullys of the premiership

Crystal Palace Football Club are delighted to announce that England international Andrew Johnson has signed a new five-year contract.

AJ scored 21 goals in the Premiership last season and was second only to Thierry henry in the goalscoring charts. he has now scored 67 goals in just under 130 games and he is 11th on the all-time Palace goalscorers list.

:confused: So did Marcus Stewart in his first season in the top flight. Went downhill from there.

AJ, good player that he is, is overated. Palace should've snapped the hands off anyone offering £6 or £7 million for him IMO which I believe Evertonand Spurs did.

starting to repay already..lost but off the mark already..can see him got 30 + goals this season
