I guess Pat's didn't manage to land Zayed then....

I was thinking that myself. It's a strange move all the same though. I mean how does Zayed benefit in a move from Bray to St. Pats. Surely both teams are at about the same level. Hardly going to progress his career. Unless he is getting a lot more money at Pat's (I doubt that though)

Ah come on!

Pats may have gone backwards but they are a better club then Bray are. I would also think their plans for the future are stronger then Brays would be.

and its too cold to be playing in bray every two weeks too :)

I know St Pat's Ath have bigger potential than bray but Zayed is hardly going to a much better team now is he?? That's all I was saying when I said it was a strange move. He is a great player that could play in a team that was challenging for honours.

Fenn missed penalty on 82 mins. Good chance of a hat-trick goes begging. Think it would have been his first too.

My god Pats are poor, they offered nothing today at all. Cork were strolling it for most of the game yet were still in complete control. O'Callagahan didn't have a great game but had some superb moments, his set up for Fenns goal was pure class.

Cork should have won by more than 2 and even at that you could tell they could play alot better than they did, Pats really are lacking without Fahey.

A comfortable victory when all is said and done for Rovers today - could've and probably should've been more...

But 11th place will do me for now anyway.... :D

Was Sheros goal good? Do you reckon he looked like he'd be a good player for you this season?

It was very, very good...good overall interplay and a simple ball from O'Connor to Sheridan and there followed an outside of the left foot curled shot into the far top corner from the edge of the box. He could've had at least another one if not two along with Tracey and O'Connor..

He's just a *bit* slow at the moment... :D

Could have been more alrite but stop this talk of very, very good interplay, a foot.ie over 50's XI team could have scored 3 against that defence today. Fair play to Rovers fans, loads of them there today, as many as if not more than Shels last week IMO but ye were silent all game barring when the 3 goals went in and the last 10 mins. Eruption at the final whistle, Rovers fans must feel on top of the world at the mo.... a feeling lost on me for now :(

Sheridan's goal was very, very good...the interplay was decent - particularly team that has seemingly been patched together with Kenny, Shelley, Sheridan, Manley, Sweetman not playing together with everyone else - add to that Malone's first game in a while and you have 3 of the back 4 not having played together before - and O Connor being widely dismissed by fans - to suddenly turn in that good a performance is why things are looking up, but I wouldn't say I'm on top of the world quite yet... :o :(

Any link up play is at the very least good. Add to that Rovers were 1-0 behind after 9 mins. We're bound to exaggerate the positives. :o

Bray'll be alright...

george was very poor fist half, improved a bit second half though. we played well within ourselves and got the result- something we've become very good at lately.

What's this, credit to our fans for a change?? :D No disrespect to Bray, but games on Sundays at 3pm don't make for great atmospheres.

Eruption at the final whistle, Rovers fans must feel on top of the world at the mo:(

Eh yeah, there was eruption, and some emotion too. No surprise as it was our first win at Bray in the league since November '98. :D :)

Disagree with you there buddy. we were pure sh*te defensively, Rovers deserved there 3 points :( . We have only ourselves to blame, Rovers were IMO poor (for most of the game, were in control towards the end).... which speak's volumes about our performance. (Molloy was great though, 110% effort....scumbag :p :D )

and O Connor being widely dismissed by fans - to suddenly turn in that good a performance is why things are looking up

O'Connor is a great player when he decides to care, but he's headed to Turkey with the Irish Team for the World Student Games (basically the Student Olypmics), which kicks off in Izmir next week.

He will be missed by Rovers, this weekend.

There is no way Zayed will leave Bray ..... the only way he'll leave Bray is if he goes to England with a promise of making the Irish team, he'll be sold for half nothing and Devlin will get a huge introduction fee for him.

This is exactly how Devlin sees it ..... dollar signs in the eyes and doesn't give a toss about eL !!
