He’s a raw talent but an absolute specimen. One to watch.
Assist for him in their league opener.

Scores today. Still think it’s mad that he never made a 21s squad

I think there will be a few players from that group that applies to in the next few years. I've never seen us have depth at the level we had with that 2000/2001 group, constantly missing 7 or 8 to the seniors and still nearly qualified. There's bound to be a few later developers who missed out from the age group that will go on to feature for the seniors.

More importantly, all five have been in the New year so it's five in his last ten games. So after taking some time to settle, he's hitting decent form

Another goal today....
This one actually reminded me of a Harry Kane finish. Hard, low, across the keeper and inch perfect inside the post.
Fair to say he's doing better in L1 than he did in the LOI? Of course the rabble he was playing with can't have helped :)

That might actually be a bannable joke. And I like puns.
Goal for Promise today. Fleetwoods third.
Another goal for him today. Sounds like a good one. I make that 6 or 7 goals for him overall this season.

I just checked out transfermarkt and it has him for 5 goals in the league and 2 in the FA Cup for 7 overall. All in 2023 too! I make that in 16 games.
That’s very decent form.

Goal for Promise last night in League One game against Blackpool. Did well with the finish, good strength and nice shot. About 20 seconds into the highlight video here.

I make that his second goal of the season, in 13 games.
He's at 6 goals now this season after grabbing the opener against Northampton.
Goal for Lawal in the same game.
Elsewhere, goal for Danny Mandroiu

Following Fleetwood Town's relegation, Omochere may be staying in EFL 1 by joining Hourihane at Barnsley (for a fee of £500k) according to journalist Alan Nixon, quoted by the72.co.uk this morning.

Omochere is expected to return to training soon, following a double injury setback. An ankle problem sustained in late October kept him out of action for three weeks before he came on as a sub in the goalless draw against Rob Elliot's Crawley Town last month. Manager Matt Taylor has since admitted that, on reflection, it might have been too early for Omochere's return. The Irish forward then suffered a broken hand which has ruled him out of Bristol Rovers' last four matches. He has had an injection "to settle down his ankle injury" and now has a suitable cast on his hand, so Taylor expects him to be back training next week.
