Any progress on this?
Has Bob Breen pulled out or what's the delay?

No ... he is adamant that he wants to continue, thing is he is out of the country a lot lately, I don’t want to start needling the guy. He is busy …. He’ll get to it when he can … we’ll have to hang tight until he can get to it.

I was thinking of driving on with another candidate !!

Any suggestions ??

Pat Dolan? Loves to shoot his mouth, plenty of interesting questions could be posed to him from wide issues about Irish soccer to the O'Callaghan situation.

Dunno ... Dolan ... Ollie .... wide open for some abuse there me thinks, might be better going with someone who would be informative.

How about someone like Foley or Farrelly, a recent addition to the league from England. Might have some interesting points.

I was obviously only messing about ollie but it would be funny :) .

Couldnt take Dolan seriously

Would agree with above - Farrelly might be a good one

He's running scared I'd imagine. First question - "Hi Bob, how in the name of the little baby Jesus have you still got a job? Especially considering the 400 Club pointed out the discrepencies in Rovers licence application. You were told it was dodgy yet still gave them a licence. It was only when it was pointed out again (by the examiner) that you finally acted and even then in a cack-handed arbitrary manner. Bob? hello? Bob? Are you there?.........."

How about someone who's involved in the media wrt to the EL, Mark McCadden or Gerry McDermott, or maybe Niall(?) Cogley from Setanta?

There are definitely a few questions I'd like to ask of the media.

Niall Cogley is a good start.

Would like to hear from Farrelly or Foley too, perhaps a joint effort there.

Nick Leeson? Ask more specific questions on marketing ideas?

What with the news and all, could you get Felix Healy in?

He was the FAI's lead man with responsibility for EL and UEFA licencing requirements. He basically advised on/supervised the process.

Is Andy Needham too obvious?

Or manager of the year - Stephen Kenny.

Brian Kerr?

Any progress on this? It looked like it would be interesting. If he's not given his answers yet can we re-open the topic for more questions?

Pretty obvious Breen was going to bottle it - too many hard questions....

Anyway be interesting to hear Cogley's turn around from rabid anti-eL while at RTE to his current role at Setanta.

Gerry McDermott could be good, especially some of the views he's expressed in support of franchise football - strange from someone who seems like a fan...
