I would like to see it in Italy because Italy have bigger stadiums than the rest of the countries.

Croatia / Hungary are supposed to be the favorites, UEFA want the tournament to be held in Eastern Europe.
I thought Poland were on their own and the Ukraine and Romania were doing a joint bid.
Arent Poland/Ukraine or Ukraine/Romania too big countries they should be looking to host it by themselves and if they cant afford they shouldnt at all.

Italy or the joint Croatia\Hungary bid would be nice. Turkey would be a nightmare, as Liverpool fans will tell you. Greece not too far behind it, while I wouldn't fancy going to Ukraine at all, too much lawlessness over there. Poland maybe if they were going it alone. Knowing our luck, they'll pick the hardest destination to get to as is possible.

i would like croatia - hungary or poland - ukraine (I'd say ukraine would be a bit more er... civilised :o by 2012) hard choice, but i think croatia hungary will sneak it. sh!tloads of corruption in Poland now
Would be keen poland and ukraine though for the experience, some beautiful parts of both countries and poland has great beer :D

It won't be Turkey. Security threat.
Apparently UEFA want it in Eastern Europe.
I personally think Croatia-Hungary will get it.

I hope its Italy as thats the cheapest place to get to, and I speak Italian. Dunno how well a joint bid of an EU/non EU country will be, there could be big traffic problems at the borders.

Knowing our luck all the other countries will pull out, England will agree to host, and we won't qualify!

If Turkey gets it, we'll definately qualify cos it will cost us an arm and a leg to get there. If Italy gets it we won't qualify, that'd be too easy :) I'm worried about the current WC campaign because any time we have attempted to qualify for a tournament on our doorstep, we always fail. We alwaysqualify for the one on the other side of the world, i.e. USA, Japan, but can't seem to qualify for a Euro championship

The Isle of Man then with a dramatic late bid!

I'd like to see it going to Ukraine or Turkey. Ukraine is a very fascinating country and I'm sure many tourists would be pleasantly surprised. Turkey has the stadiums and the football cultures ; safety matters ? We're talking about a tournament to come within 7 years, by then terrorism is hopefully out of this world.
No Italy if I may chose. That'd be such a deja-vu. They've had 2 World Cups already and a European Cup. And touristically uninteresting as well for many people, as many Europeans visited Italy already. Definitely not Italy !
I think Hungary might be in the EU by then not sure though.
Hungary joined the EU a few years ago, Croatia though isnt in it yet though. I dont think EU membership should be too much of an issue.
I was on holiday in Croatia for a couple of weeks a few years ago and its a great place. I think the joint Hungary/Croatia bid would be fantastic.

Thanks to my sun-loving parents I was forced to travel to the Meditarranean very often during my childhood (only to finally give in to my Nordic passion once I reached adulthood  ) and I can definitely say Croatia is fantastic. I have done extended travelling in Spain, visited Italy, and been to Croatia twice. I can easily say Croatia overpowers Spain and Italy in beauty. And the country hasn't lost its own authenticity because mass tourism has not found its way to Croatia yet.
A great place to visit, and the girls have no shame at all :p
Haven't been to Hungary yet, but heard Budapest is a beautiful city full of art.

Budapest is beautiful but I would be concerned about both countries having enough sufficiently large stadia to host this event.
