Great stuff for starting the thread Tet, nice to see the girls getting recognition on the forum too.

Fantastic result.. but they'll be up against it against the French at the weekend.

Our club got to an u14 FAI semi final five years back.. the keeper Auskalnyte was playing centre half for the team that beat us.. she looked about 6 ft when she was 13, very good keeper too.. beat us 3-2 in extra time with nearly the last kick of the game :(

The number 8, Aoibheann Clancy also played in the South Tipp league.. played with a tiny club who'd get regularly hockeyed by our girls, but you could see she'd that touch of class.. reckon if we'd be able to sign her we'd have won that FAI .. memories and regrets eh

But nice to see the girls win.. best of luck at the weekend
