In line with objectives to keep Sligo Rovers supporters updated on as much information as possible, the Bit O'Red Supporters Trust is giving supporters their chance to question the club. The trust are meeting with the club next Monday, so if you have any questions you would like the trust to ask on your behalf then you can do so, by posting here (please keep on topic, makes questions easier to list) or e-mailing info@thebitored.org. You can even PM myself if you want to.
We will compile the questions into a list and put them to the club representatives on Monday night. Answers to these questions will appear on the trust website the following day.
Cheers

A few questions gary?
1.How about a club open day..meet the players etc
2.what are the chances of a few decent friendlies in the showgrounds.
3.Does the club feel that come november and promotion has been sucessful
that the future of the club would depend on a big cash injection into the club in the form of a major sponsor .
4.Is saturday night the best night to play our games, ie it seems alot of people who work in sligo from afar do not stay around for the weekend.

IMO Saturday is the best day because a lot of people only work Monday to Friday so it suits and I would hate if it was changed to any other day.

I suppose you could start by thanking them, on behalf of the fans, for opening the Shed(eventually:rolleyes: )

Hi Gary,
Are there going to be lights for the all weather pitch?Maybe they have to be installed yet but if not it, it looks like a bit of bad planning as Rovers wont be able to generate any income in the evenings.
Also ,have they any plans to employ a commerical manager? They have talked about it for a while now.

the new stand has been open for a while..."the new" is hardly a good name!we have a proud history and the naming of the stand would be very easy...so the question is:any chance of naming the stand!??

Is the weekly income through gates, sponsorship, lotto etc meeting the weekly expenditure?
Would the Club consider holding a major fundraising venture? E.g. End of season Dinner Dance.
Will the club take any action against supporters who tarnish the name of Sligo Rovers F.C. through loutish behaviour?
Would the club be willing to disclose the attendance record of M.C. members to their weekly meetings, at the AGM?
Has the club considered at least one full time position to the board? In order to run the club as the business, which it is? (Suggested roll would be; joint commercial and general manager)

Not fully sure but I dont think they had enough money to get lights aswell, for the moment anyway.

cheers for all the questions. i'll compile them all on monday and endeavour to get as many of them answered as possible.
Re: tosh - pity if he's gone. he made a great impact coming from the bench. we'd have lost in dublin were it not for his introduction. always tried hard and did his best for the shirt. pity it hasnt worked out for him here.
