When he is running at you at 20 mph and your holding the ball in two hands it is
he (odonavan) slowed down as he was getting to Connor because he knew he wouldnt make it and then tried to skip around behind Connor who then proceeded to nearly decapitate odonavan

'but when Drogs are growing as a club it would be nice if your fans started taking defeat's graciously'

In fairness, I have said that I hope you go on and win the league

'your fans would not be calling Georgie a pounce if he signed for you lot'

A couple of cork fans will know that I have been calling him a ponce before he was ever been linked with us. He's a class player and all that, I just dont think he's that strong and goes down a bit easily at times - michael collins got stuck into him in portadown and he didnt want to know and he also hit the deck pretty easily against shels in the setanta cup. No need to get so touchy about it  !!

'but it seems he is not a money grabber like some other players at your club'

Definitely not. I know someone that knows him and from what I hear he staying with cork for a lot less money than was being offered to him. Fair play to him. I honestly reckon having 8 or 9 local in your team has that team spirit that we dont have at all this season

Having seen it myself I personally don't think it warranted a yellow for Roy, maybe a yellow for Dan Connor. How referees view situations seems to be totally different to the interpretation of normal human beings.
I mean the Shams player who commented on Alan Kellys new all bleach hairstyle and was promptly sent off. Pity too cos I reckon they might have nicked a point off Derry with 11 men.

Just pop back here on Monday, Cosmo, so you can join in the fun as we spark off the Rovers fans. :D
Pat Dolans, "The Whole World Is Against Us" legacy still lingers on.

After seeing the "tackle" by connor on roy on tv I'm even angrier than I was on Sunday. He should be prosecuted for this

I'm glad that a neutral fan has agreed with City fans comments here. I couldn't believe it when Osam & Scully couldn't see anything wrong with. Wheres Trevor Welsh when you need him. O'Donovan young inexpereinced player so can be enthuasistic somethimes but he clearly pulled out of the sending off challenge.

I was also surprised that they never showed the incident from camera angle behind the goal.

To be fair to those in the studio, the angle is poor, though you can still see that Connor raises an arm to catch Roy as he's going by him (not into him)

The camera behind the goals would have shown it more clearly.
