Still 2-0. Half time substitution-Murtagh off and Foley on. Murtagh was playing on the wing and looked out of position according to Ocean FM

Not looking good, still 2-0. 6 minutes plus stoppage time left. Keith O'Dwyer said we are'nt getting chances to score. Kilkenny are sitting back at this stage and taking any counter attacks they get :(
Just turned on aertel for the first time tonight :D :D :D :D :D

i read a ot of posts here this week most of them predicting a win for rovers. its nice to get a dose of reality this league is not over by a long shot. it is now sticking out a mile that we need another striker somebody that can turn all the posession we get during games into goals. we are trying to sign one from limavaddy. it is crucial that we get this guy now as it will take him a couple of games to settle in. this is where the gamble comes in are we going to offer them what they are looking for and if he starts banging in the goals the the gates will go up and we will recover the money. this is where a club has to stick its neck out and take a chance. as sean connors stated every team goes through a bad patch this is now our time. i remember when ****** came here we were flying in the 1st division and we met harps on the sat night they played us of the park we lost 2 nil. we then went onto play ****** and did well losing the game 1 nil i think, after that we lost no more gamees in the league. will history repeat itself . my opinion i doubt it. what our team needs is an out and out striker no disrespect t sean or paul who have done very well but both would benefit hugely by a sniffer (ie a player who scores goals) he does not have to be creative but just to have the snack of being in the right place atthe right time. i rest my case

O’Hara,
Gallagher, Low, McNamara, Burns,
O’Grady, Kuduzovic, Feeney (Carr, 70), Murtagh (Foley, 45),
Flannery (Alvarez, 60), McTiernan.
================================================== ======
What was Gallagher playing for?. Is Raf injured? How did Gallagher play? Did he make any mistakes? Was he the cause of any Kilkenny goals?

It was no harm getting a reality check, as long as we can bounce back quickly. This league isn't won yet by a long shot and I think some of us were starting to get a little carried away!

ppl hu don't go2games are in no position to make comments like dat
Sorry red til dead but I disagree there. It's not fair to say that people that aren't at matches have no right to make comments about it. Fair enough they are in no position to comment on the match itself, as they dont know how well either team played, but they still have a right to express their view on the result. I was not at the match, believe me if I could of got down to it I would but I couldn't, but I still have the right to say that I am mad and disappointed about the result and as Da Real Rover said "bloody disgraceful" that is how I would look at it too, as we are top of the league and had a recent run of wins behind us and also we were playing a team that was bottom of the league so we were easily expected to win this. 1st position means that Rovers have brought it on themselves to show that they are true leaders and everybody expects them to beat teams like Kilkenny, Athlone, Monaghan etc. And last night this is not what they did

calm down, its only 2 losses this season,we were never gonna keep a 5 point lead going all season, itll change hands back to someone else undoubtedly, almost every team for the last 8 or 9 years that won this division, lost 4-5 games,no need to panick, a win against kildare will set us right......hopefully!!!

ppl hu don't go2games are in no position to make comments like dat&may i remind u we're still top of da table, however bad we we're tonite, and comments like dat help no1
I go to all home games and any away games i can get to, like when theres a bus. Just cause i didnt see the game dont mean i dont have an opinion on the result. We lost 2-0 to a leinster senior league selection and in my mind thats bloody disgracefull. Also how do any of our comments on here help anyone (apart from the lads on the trust) this is just an outlet for voicing our opinions, i dont intend to solve world hunger or African debt. So if you dont like my opinion on the result well thats just tough sh!t.

That’s not fair. They’ve put a good run together & deserve more respect. You can’t win every game. It’s now up to Rovers to take it on the chin & move on. You can over analyse these things. Do you fall apart or does it spur you on?

Im sure even leinster senior league teams have put good runs together but even so they dont win over my respect and i dont feel their a worthy team to be outplayed by. But i think this win will give the players a much needed kick in the arse. And id rather get that lesson off a team that are hopelessly adrift at the bottom of the table than a main contender for the league.

The result was bloody disgracefull, not the league position or the previos performances but the result, simple as.

This is what I dont like about some of our supporters... once were winning yere all praise and once we dont win yere sayin were 'bloody disgraceful'. we lost and thats that. its only our 2nd defeat of the season. Were still in the driving seat for promotion so get behind the team and give them the praise they deserve!!

I aint abusing the team or the previous performances or our league position, i was just giving my opinion on the Kilkenny result so will yee stop blowing it out of all proportions. I give team praise when they deserve it and i criticise it when they play below there ability and high standards we all know they can achieve. Remember in this tight race every result matters.

i agree 100%. some1 who makes genuine effort to support our club wud never make a ridiculous comment like "bloody disgraceful". was it "bloody disgraceful" when chelsea lost to man city or when villareal beat barca 3-0. no it was a blip
For **** sake who are you to judge me, when ya know me then judge but until then dont even think about questioning my loyalty. This argument is going nowhere cause ya keep regurgitating the same old sh!te so end it here and dont make pathetic swipes its painfull to read. And those results last year by barca and chelsea were 'bloody disgracefull' in my mind and if ya dont like what i think ( i told ya before) tough sh!t.
