Rap superstar Eminem plans to make his last solo performance in Ireland in September, the Detroit Free Press, his hometown newspaper, said on Friday.

Citing sources close to the 33-year-old rapper, whose real name is Marshall Mathers, the daily also said his current album "Encore" would probably be his last as he moves to full-time work as a record producer.

The final solo appearance of Mathers, the best-selling hip-hop artist ever, would be at a concert in Dublin, Ireland, on September 17, the Free Press said.

There was all sorts of stories around the release of his last album that he wanted to move away from releasing music and more into R&D and producing records.

Eminem has now denied these rumours:(. Although he did say that he wasn't sure what he will be doing yet, so here's hoping! :)

He sure gets alot of stick here.

He's a good artist, but a crap producer. His latest stuff's been pretty sh!te and he's a drama queen too. But I like him. :eek:

I've never seen any of his paintings so I couldn't comment. His "music" is a bucket of shîte though; such egotistical, self-centred, misogynistic ranting won't be missed in this house for one. See ya, wouldn't wanna be ya... :rolleyes:
