Keeping in mind Shels would play Steaua Bucharest if they knock out Glens Rapid Bucharest won 5-0 away today. However they only played Andorrian representatives Sant Julia.

Ostenstad scored against Portadown. Is the Egil Ostenstad who played for Southampton, Blackburn and Rangers?
Yep. Roy Hodgson is their Manager too.

Interesting. Didn't know that. Ports pulled one back, a Vinny Arkins peno. 1-2 final score.

That's still a terrible scoreline to take away, Linfield are doing well though.

Good stuff by both our teams tonight (he said, not trying to jinx Longford before their game is over.... :D
I see Linfield are 1:0 against Ventspils.
Also see that our friends Levadia Talinn beat Dinamo Tblisi last night !
C'mon Rhyl..... ! God I love European football.... :D

Looks like 1.000 for us in the UEFA coefficients.
We're pulling away from Malta (one loss, one currently drawing) and Albania (one win and one draw).
Belarus have won both (just gone 2-0 up against Ferencvaros in injury time), Liechtenstein have won, Macedonia have lost and drawn, Iceland have won and are drawing in injury time.
Could be better, but at the moment, we close to within 0.9 of Macedonia and Iceland, from about 1.3. Next team to catch is Lithuania, and they've lost one and are losing one! :)
Thank God for the coeffients - these matches would be meaningless otherwise!

Indeed because it will stand us in good stead when we win the FAI Cup as part of our cup double this year. :D

Not only that, but Shels and Cork will be in a good position to add two more wins to the total with two home games coming up. Longford have a good chance too but will probably play boring, defencive, ambitionless football and concentrate on getting through, that could be a draw though which wouldn't be bad.

B36 have drawn in Iceland! Take a 1-1 draw back to the Tórsvollur! Read it and weep, HB-ers! :p
(Soory...bit off topic! :) )

Not all bad news for Wales, Rhyl now two goals up. Impressive.

Yep fair play to Cork, Longford and Shels, they have done the league proud. Lets hope that they can all finish the job and progress to their respective next rounds!
