Hea lads just to let ye all know that that Newcastle west route for the buses is gone and will NOT be running this weekend or after. In the last six weeks only two people (once) have used the service. The Kilmallock route is also to be shelved after this weekend as its just not working. The other routes are going well and long may it continue.

I presume when you say not working you mean not advertised properly within the area itself? :rolleyes: The Killmallock bus passed through Bruff but I've never seen a poster in any shop or pub advertising this service in the town. The bus scheme was a great idea but was never given the push it deserved. It's great that some of the routes have taken off but the failure of the two being chopped is easy enough to pinpoint. The routes that have worked already had an element of Limerick FC support, those that failed were new areas for the club to try and build up support in. They failed to do that.

Agreed. No matter how good or bad your product is you have to advertise. Any business sinks or swims on the basis of it's marketing.
