I'm reliably informed that this match is set for
Thursday the 4th April.
Don't have a KO (yet) time but I'd imagine we'll need the lights.

Rockmount it is. They beat Youghal United away on penalties in the semi-final having thumped Ramblers 3-0 in the quarter-final at St. Colman's.

This will be city's first game under lights at the cross. It would be nice if we could get somewhat of a good crowd and a bit of an atmosphere. I know its unlikely, but God loves a tryer. Are many of you going?

Saw Rockmount yesterday beat Corinthians 3-1 and they looked very impressive.
It will not be a cakewalk, especially the way we are playing.

I'd suggest Rockmount are a better team than Limerick... and we all know the result we got aginst Limerick.

More of these games. Give him the rope!

rockmount beat city at the X a few seasons back(on penos)
a repeat performance

A shock could be on the cards, especially with the fact that there will most likely be a small crowd, which would suit Rockmount as they are used to having nobody at their games. It would really sum the season up if we failed to win the MSC, when was the last year we didnt win it? Somebody get the rope!

Rockmount have done quite well this season considering how far they got in the FAI Cup. I saw the game in Whitechurch against St. Kevin's and City can expect a physical game and watch out for Keano junior....unmistakeningly like his brother.

Kevin's went on to give Derry a good run for their money as well. They won't be push overs but City should win.

Will Hartigol be playing?

If he does we will win as we all know he scores against the poorer teams consistently.

I think that was actually one of Dave Barry's fisrt game in charge, if not his very first. I remember him commenting afterwards about how much work needed to be done to turn things around.

Didn't he do a good job too by the way.:)
