According to the Bohs MB (http://gypsiesweb.proboards48.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=1121169543) the Bohs away game on the 29th will be live on Setanta. Haven't seen it anywhere else so don't know how true it is.

Balls! I'm away that week!

I'll believe it when I see it, I suppose, especially with Pat's v. Cork on the same night.

Isn't that a good thing seeming as you'd be at the game if you're around?

Ah...did I explain that I'll be stuck in a field in Louth for the entire week looking after a group of about 30 cadets making sure they don't kill themselves with hatchets or food poisoning? The electrical generator which powers the occasional lightbulb will be the nearest thing to any sort of mod con, I'm afraid! Friday night's also the entertainment night, so less chance of quietly nipping down the pub to watch!

Would be great to see UCd rewarded with a live television appearance after playing some excellent football this year.

However the cynic in me doubts that it will happen.

Would i be right in saying that if UCD were to appear on TV it would be in an away fixture as Belfield Park wouldn't be suitable for a live televised match???

Don't think there's anything structurally wrong with the ground - RTÉ used to be down with two cameras, and they'd erect a stand behind the Cascarino Stand (or rather where it it now, which was then empty) and it worked grand.

I hope to God we acquit ourselves well. If we beat Bohs live on TV it may impress a new fan or two. It would only have done us harm had the Cork game a few weeks ago been on TV. :p

UCD-Bohs games aren't bad usually. There was the 3-3 draw in the Cup in 2000, which was a brilliant game. There was a 4-3 win for Bohs in Belfield, a 1-1 draw in 2002 (Supporters' Club Match of the Season), the 1-1 draw earlier in the season, the 6-0 defeat three years ago :o and some other good games. Now if they'd've picked UCD-Pat's, which is often poor, then I'd have been worried!

Might have attracted more away fans looking to see an easy win. :D

Pats v Cork switched to Sunday 31st due to our euro game on Thursday.

No worse than the likes of Shels v Derry though.

Is it at Dalyer or Belfield? We play on the 31st so I'll finally get to watch some live eircom League football (on the telly)!

I'm going to tape it for myself to keep as I'll be going. Is it for a lend or permenent you need it for?

Well a lend but if it was possible to get it copied could be up for that too

Well if you can get it copied then by all means cos I have no idea. :D

On past evidence, it'll be repeated 4 or 5 times so there should be plenty of opportunities to tape lots of copies.
