I see that Dublin City have made a deal with Tv3 for some exposure. Dublin City record the games themselves and give the tapes to tv3 who then edit them and show highlights from it. This seems like a good idea and an idea we should try and get a deal like this going with tv3. Its time to show the country how well our lads are playing not just a few seconds showing the misses  The exposure could only be good. I'm sure the club could organise somebody to record the games.

IMO if they stopped talkin so much sh!t on it they could show a lot more games. they keep goin on and on about the premier division when they could show a lot more goals from a lot more games!!

Lads, when we get back to where we belong ... the Premier Division, we'll not be too interested in what's happening in the First Division. That's a fact of life!
I think they show all the goals from the games they get. It's only in Ireland where a club have to record the action, edit it and send it to the broadcasting body free of charge so as they do the club a favour and broadcast the edited highlights of the game. It only highlights how poorly the Eircom League is perceived in our country.

Yeah they should stop talkin about the premier division and talk about the first division. Especially Galway United cos we are the biggest club and best team in Connaught :D We have some great young talent and with Lavine Clery Gough Russell Reilly and a few others we have Premier Rated players .
Also Mixies playin class he marked O'Callaghan off the pitch against Cork.
And Kevin Williamson used to play for Bohs and hes gots the skills and the natural talent to become a great player ;)

The Dubs will do what it takes to succeed.

It is a pain in the butt to have to record your own games but then that is the first division for you, I know the coverage is shoddy to say the least but if you look at any tv coverage from any of the countries around euroland it is hard to find the highlights of their countries first division. Name me two teams from the first div from all the big footie countries!

Example:

Italy:
Prem; Inter and Juve
First:

Germany:
Prem; Bayern and 1860
First;

Anyway the morale of the the TV coverage story is this, Get yourself out of the first div asap or no TV.

Actually I didn't surf the web for this, because if I did then it would have been pointless answering your question. I know Murcia cos I seen them play when they were in the primera liga the year before last, but your right about Levante and Harte :o :D

Sorry didnt mean to offend you i just wanted to say why some first division clubs including silgo rovers gufc and dublin city should be talked about more on el weekly. Sligo also have great quality on the squad with cretaro, alvarez, o'grady and thats only mentioning a few.
