What game are RTE showing on Friday night?
Probably Waterford/Rovers, Harps/Derry won’t be on anyway and I’m not sure if they’ll show Pats/Sligo so soon after being on….

Might be more to do witH UEFA and not clashing with Champions League
Possibly, although Champions League games kick off at both 17:45 and 20:00 in the group stages these days. Also there’s 6 EFL championship games on at 19:45 that night so it doesn’t look like it’s a uefa rule. Bizarre stuff either way

Cost cutting seems to be their main objective these days especially when it comes to LOI coverage. Having only one cup semi on live was poor.

Turned on the Harps match during half time is the commentary being done in Esperanto. Im struggling to follow what’s being said.

The lead commentator is poor. If you weren’t from these shores you wouldn’t say it was English being spoken.

As things stand, + result on Thusday and maybe beat Longford, it will be a big last league night v Derry! Followed by Dundalk fans becoming St Pats fans for a few days - purely to back Stephen O'Donnell of course. Of course we may have our own 'cup final' couple of days prior also...
Sligo fans singing the get Battered everywhere they go song, Cringe.

Absolutely battered POTM FC until Paddy Barrett gifted them a goal and the game changed. Tired game all round that doesn't mean much for us but disappointing to let it slip all the same.

Not the result needed for Harps.

Did the Harps commentator comment on a 1-1 draw? Could come back to bite but I hope that heavy sodden Finn Park pitch has taken it out of the legs of Drogs players for Thursday!
Important point for Bohs when ye look at GD if there is a melee last day.

Like two pathologists discussing an autopsy, but they both deserve a medal for keeping going when everybody else watching an utterly atrocious game of football must surely have lost the will to live.

What did he do to wind you up tonight ? 22 non footballers on that pitch tonight anyways. Absolutely desperate stuff. I'm not for astro turf pitches usually but the pitch in Ballybofey is consistently a problem, Harps and the league deserve better, football almost an impossible task on it. Anyways glad to be not leaving empty handed.

That was painful, one team got what they came for ,the other was completly clueless trying to get what they needed, both keepers had their slippers on.....

Harsh on Longford (again) tonight. Had the better chances second half till the last 5 or 10 minutes.

Cracker in Richmond. Pats could and should have been 3-0 rather than 1-0 after a dominant first half. The early goal in the second half should have put it to bed but the goal gifted to Bohs gave them confidence that had been totally lacking to that point and from the equaliser on it was anyone’s game. Pats not too bothered about the dropped points, second spot is almost wrapped and will be confirmed unless Sligo win in Richmond on Friday. More importantly, it was a hugely entertaining game with both teams playing good football, which bodes well for the Cup Final.

The pitch in United Park has looked like crop circles over it for almost all of this season.
Give over. It's November and there's been torrential rain.

I hope not.
With oriel , derry, shels and bohs new stadium that would be 6 astros in the Premier if harps go that way.

Hopefully their still gunning to get a win. They could play a huge part in the outcome of this season with their remaining fixtures. Even if they could manage a draw in their remaining games.

Really enjoyable second half anyway 😊
Pats were in complete control and should have been 3 or 4 up before they gift-wrapped that goal for us. That turned the game on its head, and with the subs we made, it gave us a bit of size up front and we started causing real problems. You could see the confidence and composure drain from the Pats defenders and when we equalised I thought we'd go on to win. We had our chances but Pats dominated towards the end so a draw was fair enough.
It turned out to be a nice evening for football after a miserable day and the away end is much better with the shed demolished. Just a shame the game wasn't on a Friday.

Apparently we're getting a hybrid pitch, exact same as the surface at Lansdowne Road.

Yeah, that’s what I’ve heard from. Bohs source. Thank god it won’t be another Oriel/Brandywell job.
Entertaining game last night, as has been said. We really were cruising until we handed Bohs a goal (though it has to be said our first goal was a bit of a gift too. ) we seemed to panic after that, and coupled with Bohs getting some belief, it let them back into the game. We did finish the stronger though. Hopefully the cup final is as good, and we can finish the job this time.

I’m hoping for real bore fest a early mistake from Bohs to gift us a goal then followed by a converted penalty with sending off would do the heart health the world of good. A nail bitter will be hard to watch.

;);) I can certainly see where you’re coming from, but if you win them, the topsy turvey games are certainly more fun to recall. All about the win at the end of the day though.

Yeah makes sense considering the sodden pitch in is a key pillar in Ollies tactical handbook.

Waterford out of the blocks early in this game, 1-0 up.
