.....Monaghans half pounder burgers in that stand still take some beating!
They're probably the only EL club who understand our food requirements and there's a genuine mutual respect there without doubt.

Rememeber i was at Dalyer for a fai cup 1/4 final games few years ago 1-1 draw i think, anyway at half time me and my mate went to the jacks - coming back, not knowing exactly where we were going ( several pints previous ) we ended up in a bar eating the player's sandwiches and sausage rolls - so for me it has to be Dalymount :D

Curry chips at Flancare - when we used to be allowed over to the van :(
The curry sauce is made from some kind of mega cheapo curry powder, the likes of which I haven't tasted anywhere else in 20 years. God bless the midlands and its backwards ways.

You don't get to many grounds, do you?! :p
Bohs for me - like the chipper there. Can't beat the Montrose for free sausages (or at least, when they did them... :( ) and chicken nuggets - though I'm sure someone will point out that technically the Montrose isn't an eL ground...! :)

Better in Dalyer than Tolka. Not as good as non-stadium Burdocks though.
Very good thread.
Cup a Soups in Century Home Park, Strange smelling chips in the Brandywell, monster sausages used as hot dogs in Drogs, mini chips in Flancare

The "coffee and Rocky bar" combo in a bitterly cold Carlisle Grounds. I didn't know whether to drink it or pour it over me.

The grub in United Park is grand.Leo Burdocks in Dalyer and Tolka is ok but the fish can be greasy as fcuk. The worst is the RSC.The burgers are that bad vegetarians would eat them.
The Burdocks in Tolka for some reason is always a better standard than the burdocks in dalyer

.......the hot dogs in terryland taste like petrol ... seriously!
nicest burger goes to turners cross (on the top of the hill.)
Killkennys facilities are rubbish their special is tea and a snack bar!
Finn Harps a scoop 'a' chips = 80 cent and curry chips 2.45 they taste good two according to Fran Carter, Barry Moran and the rest of the GUFC squad :p
Burdocks at Dalyer for quality - but burgers at United Park for Value, washed down with Smithwicks in the pub netx door... Happy days

Longford Town have now taken over as best food provider in the EL. Big Apache pizza slices for only E2.50, makes a change from the usual greasy burgers at most grounds:p

Have to say i enjoyed my curry chip in tolka on friday night! :D
Burdocks because is reliable standard & not much competition.
Most grounds are hopeless & some like United Park provide limited hot food - Pot Noodles & Cup a Soups. :(
Should it not be part of ground licences that hot food be available to all fans?

Makes a huge change from the large oul wan in Flancare with her thong pulled halfway up her back who handles both cooked and uncooked food without any thought of cross contamination.

The last time I was in United Park they had a proper fast food place set up behind the goals at the away end. It was pretty nice too.

Soup in Flancare is crap, Finn Park gets the best soup award. But the pizza and chips in Flancare is the best food.

When did you last taste petrol? :D
When Geataux were sponsors of Athlone, it was easy to wander in to the St Mel's hospitality enclosure/shack and grab a a few slices of free Swiss Roll.
Other than that, I got a decent feed of quality deep fried something in batter,at Turners Cross.
Any grounds selling chilled cans of soft drinks? Drinks are usually way above room temperature. Warm Sprite doesn't hit the spot.

Yep, unless the chip fan has two Michelin stars then the club should be thrown out of the league...
Mon Dogs probably deserve a star or two though.
