Nah, they will keep Derry away from $hel$, they want another final where $hel$ get beaten 2 - 0 by a team from the North.............:p
(purely geographical post here, nothing to do with politics..;) )

Hoorah Longford.
You managed to win one, draw one and lose one to us this season.
INCREDIBLE ACHIEVEMENT.
WELL DONE!
:D
(and btw, we've have already beaten $hel$ 2 - 0 up at tolka this season)

Anyone know if the draw is today? I don't even know who I'd want. Shels have the quality to beat anyone as long as they click, Derry are strong this year and Longford, well it's Londford in the cup!

Are we the only team left not putting out a full-strength team?

I'm assuming though Mahon will send out 10 first teamers and Whitmarsh in the semis?

Those two points dropped by the rebels cois Laoi  will come back to haunt ye in the Autumn.
and the 29 point you lot dropped to us over the last few seasons come back to haunt you every autumn.........:D
But hey, lets give credit where it's due. Well done, plucky little Longford, on scoring one goal in over 200 minutes of football, a truly fantastic achievement.....:p

Wouldn't say so. Similar team to the Waterford game. Blooding the next batch of youngsters is probably more important than winning the tournament. And hey, they've already knocked out two Premier teams' first XIs! :p

Given the fact if we win the League Cup that will ensure the FAI don't give the competition a Setanta place I suppose it's not that important. :p
Any figure on the prize money for winning the semis and actually winning the final itself?

How does the money work? Was the €2.5k for Monday a prize for winning the tie or guaranteed money for losing in the semis? So would there be money on top of the €2.5k for winning on Monday for winning the semis which is also seperate to the prize for the final?

I think it's €2.5k guaranteed for reaching the semis which will be upped to €7k if we get to the final, not €9.5k.
