I think he spent a summer in Navan when he was at school - learning English probably.

Really?
Was it at the same school where they have been trying to teach English to the natives for years and years?

Its pretty likely that one of the kids that came to ireland to learn english from spain was bound to turn into a world class footballer. Mainly because they send the entire underage spanish population to ireland every summer, or so it seems when I am trying to get on a bus.

Are we that loud in foreign countries btw on transport or is it because Spanish and French and languages of similiar birth are much faster and sound louder????

French and Spanish people simply speak faster and sound louder.

We are just as loud, especially when we are falling around their countries p*ssed out of our heads.....
