AC Milan (http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/europe/4653083.stm) have signed Italy international striker Christian Vieri, only days after he left Inter Milan.
The 31-year-old has signed a two-year deal with the Rossoneri - having had his contract at Inter cancelled by mutual consent last week.

Vieri had been linked with a move to England, with Newcastle manager Graeme Souness admitting he made an enquiry.

The news comes as a blow to Chelsea striker Hernan Crespo, who is hoping to make his loan move to Milan permanent.

its amazing that the littlest hobo managed to stay at inter for that long! i think he must have there for something like 6 years before that he was averaging a club a season one each at juve , atletico madrid and lazio before moving to inter. i imagine tommasson and or inzaghi are on borrowed time now. although it does leave a question mark over gilardino possiblly leaving the way open for chelsea to sign him.

The ammount of players AC sing on a free is UNREAL.Dorahsoo,Tomasson,Vogel,Simic,Seadorf,Panca ro,the list goes on and now Vieri.this better NOT mean AC won't sing Hernan and Gila. :mad: But Milan been soooo stingy they probably won't. :mad: :mad: :mad:
