he and his cronies had a nice bit of bling-bling on too, which I thought was strange considering the campaign and all.

He's rubbish anyway!
All he did was walk around shouting profanities and saying snoop dog this and snoop dog that.
Throw the dog a bone that he may choke on it!

Madonna used some colourful language too.

He's OK but it písses me off when any artist just walks around saying their name. Why? If you're at their show, chances are you know who they are.

it wasnt a festival .festivals are for over 18's unless supervised so language drugs references etc are ok every one is an adult , but this was a charity gig watched by families with young kids i think he could have left off the mother f****** for one day .

normally im terrible for swearing but in the right enviroment

You know what I mean but if you want to get technical, thats fine, in order to get tickets you had to enter into a lottery via text to win the tickets, yeah? To enter this would be entering into a legal contract, still with me? How old do you have to be to enter a contract? Thats right, 18, very few people didn't swear, I wouldn't worry about it!

Snoop Dogg isn't a musician. I like the chap and all but lets face the facts, he's a rapper. A musician is someone who plays instruments and/or produces their or other peoples music.

Snoop does none of this.

i remember this came up on another thread. I made the same point with a dig at the knob twiddlers and, boy, did they get their frilly little knickers in a twist. :D

It's time someone stood up and said it - Most rapping is TALKING along with crap so called poetry that a national school kid would be embarrassed to write. There are a tiny number of rappers - eg Public Enemy - that can manage a decent few lines but most can't.
Snoopy Poopy Doggy Dog$hite has a track record in ,shall we say, very un PC statements.

I just can't get my head round spending good money and 90 minutes listening to some gob$hite yelling "What's up" or "Let's make some noise".
My reply would be, "Try singing lessons, ya tuneless cnut"

The BBC apologised on Monday for outbursts of swearing by stars including Madonna at the weekend's Live 8 concerts after it received hundreds of complaints from viewers.

More than a million people watched the shows held at 10 venues across the globe on Saturday, while an estimated 2 billion tuned in via the Internet, television and radio.

The BBC, which carried live footage with no time delay, said about 350 people had complained about performers using bad language before the 9 p.m. watershed when British TV companies are committed to airing shows suitable for a family audience.

A number of artists at London's Hyde Park, including Madonna and U.S. rapper Snoop Dogg, could be clearly heard to be swearing on the BBC's coverage in the early evening.

The BBC said it had warned stars about their behaviour.

"We broadcast the Live 8 concerts on the understanding that all artists knew they were performing live and would bear that in mind," the broadcaster said.

"We are very sorry that viewers were offended by swearing ... and apologise especially to those who were watching with children before the 9 p.m. watershed

"Many millions of people enjoyed over 12 hours of live broadcasting but we are of course very sorry for any offence caused."

The number of complaints is dwarfed by a record 63,000 viewers who objected in January to the BBC showing the profanity-laden musical "Jerry Springer -- The Opera" which went out late at night.
