How about, 'About time he bloody retired'. In fairness, at 38 he got a good whack out of the game and retired at the club he wished to retire at. Great player but should have retired when he left Chelsea.

Fantastic player, one of the best imports to the Premiership
That FA Cup goal when he clipped the ball with the inside of his heel at the near post was genius!

Best games I remember him playing in 5-0 in Galatasaray in CL 1999 or 2000 and a hat trick he got against Liverpool in 4-2 in 1997 FA Cup.

He had a great season there at Cagliari, according to anecdotal research, a lot of the fans were hoping he'd sign for another season.

Wonder if he fancies a holiday in Waterford ;)

One of my favourite players - every club he ever played for loved the guy.

With all the fouling and diving that goes on in modern football, when i watched Zola,i was always reminded that it is still the Beautiful game.

Good luck
