"according to the regional tourist authority for Galway, Mayo and Roscommon."

Self praise is no praise.

....but some praise

its marketing at the end of the day, good ploy though.

Only 20% cheaper? I would've expected much lower tbh....

Doing a midweek in the Slieve Russell later on in the summer actually. Seems more than 20% cheaper than Dublin, so exclude the rip off west and I'd say borders and midlands the places to go :D

Long time since I was last up at the Slieve Russell - used to head up there to the nightclub and the easy Fermanagh women.... :D

IMO 20% is not low enough.

Most foreign (especially US tourists) start in Dublin so more demand there.

Rip Off West!

20% cheaper than a rip off is not worth celebrating.
Paul O'Shea do you happen to work for the Western Tourist board by any chance or is that everyone in the West gets a brochure on how to promote the region because when it comes to self praise and promotion ye do a good job!
