He admitted punching the ball into the net for his goal against waaaaterford.

Fair play to him for admitting it ;)

Proof these things go in roundabouts, the previous game he had one disallowed for handball that clearly wasn't :)

Fair play to him for admitting it ;) maybe its a sign of things to come. of course if heary was to start admitting his wrongdoings, he'd have to retire and work on the book full-time  :D

I thought that was Georgies plan. Or did Owen steal it from him? :D

jorge

I dont see much wrong with it really he would have scored anyway.

He did, it wasn't hard, Georges natural self defence instinct was to go down clutching his head looking for a free kick

disgraceful. Robbed us of any change of getting some much needed points.
Deserves a ban.

He also said (http://www.eleven-a-side.com/shelbourne/irish_soccer_detail.asp?newsid=17929) that the Waterford lad handled on the line first, so he was just saving him from getting sent off...! Still sticking to your post, BTID? ;)

I'm sorry, that was sooooo nice of him for saving our player from getting sent off, i'll give him a ring and thank him for being so nice, hows that???

My point was that it's rather hypocritical of you to call him a cheat and trying to gain his team an unfair advantage when one of your own players did exactly the same thing.

Heary's hand ball was deliberate, ours wasn't!!!!

Apparently the ref was going to give the penalty, so it must've been...

Is that wat Heary(the cheat) said. We all now know how reliable he is.

Slash/ED
29/06/2005, 6:18 PM
The most reliable player in the league :)

Unfortunately for you it's true, the ref was about to give the penalty and apparently Heary told him after the goal not to send the defender off but I didn't see that myself to I'm not sure if it's true or not.

Again, thats Heary's view. Why should anybody believe him, especially after he admitted CHEATING. Even if the waterford player handled the ball, Heary just came out and admitted that he's a CHEAT.

Is that better or worse than your player cheating and not admitting it?

blue til i die
29/06/2005, 6:29 PM
None of our players cheated though.

Slash/ED
29/06/2005, 6:30 PM
Except for the handball in the box of course.

blue til i die
29/06/2005, 6:45 PM
We don't know if that was on purpose though. And if it was Heary that sed it???

Slash/ED
29/06/2005, 6:47 PM
The ref seemed to think so, unless you want to call Heary an outright liar, which is a different thing altogether. I've noticed the Waterford player in question hasn't contradicted him.

Slash/ED
29/06/2005, 6:53 PM
You're calling him a liar based on the fact that you simply don't believe that a Waterford player could ever handball inside the box deliberately? Okay....

Hmm where's your other post gone?

blue til i die

unless you want to call Heary an outright liar, .
Sorry, i forgot that one. He's a CHEAT and a LIAR.

And now we're into the realms of making things up...

You had bad luck, swings and roundabouts and all that - get over it.

All players, all over the world , since Adam was a boy, "cheat" as you call it. No Waterford player has ever gone down easily looking for a free? Or claimed that he wasn't the last player to touch the ball when it goes out of play?
To my mind, the only cheat is someone who goes down when the only intention is to get someone sent off, like Mark Hughes, Rivaldo or O'Callaghan.

How DARE anyone call St. Owen a cheat.

The fact that he said himself that he deliberatelt cheated is totally immaterial.
We ALL know that Mahatma Heery has NEVER kicked a fellow player, NEVER committed a foul indeed NEVER, EVER, EVER did anythign wrong on a pitch, he is such a gentleman. And, of course, he has NEVER cheated. (Even though he has just admitted that he did).

Poor little Owen....:p

Heary is a scumbag, I've seen him assault a referee on the field of play, doesn't get much lower than that.
No denying it, the lad is a good player, just a cheating scumbag too.

If anything, it will incline referee's to not give Heary the benefit of the doubt in anything for a while, be it mistimed tackles (not that Heary is capable of such a thing! :D), or dodgy goal decisions. So, if anything, he will have disadvantaged himself in saying that as referees will be skeptical of him from now on, or so I woulda thought!

heh heh heh. It's funny cos he is the league's biggest cheat. He thought Can't Pass O'Brien everything he knows about diving I'd suspect.

That title goes to Owen, the cheat who didn't cheat when he was deliberately cheating.....:p

Whatever about the rest, I'm just pointing out the hypocrisy that our Waterford friend won't condemn his own player for doing the exact same thing...

Brennan his deputy whose stint at right back coincided with Shels worst run of results in recent times, is getting a contract cross channel?

Danny Mills gets capped for England and now this? I swear the English would not know a decent right full if he bit them in the pecker!
