Cork boss underlines need for Grant aid


Cork City manager Damien Richardson admits he is in the hunt for former Shamrock Rovers striker Stephen Grant as he steps up his pursuit for a replacement for departed striker Kevin Doyle.

Despite leaving for Coca-Cola Championship side Reading three weeks ago, Doyle remains the club’s top scorer with seven goals, three more than Denis Behan – who is out with of action with a broken jaw.

No. That was McCourt.
Stephen Grant has played on the wing for Rovers last few years before retiring last winter.
