Same old story really. We started off very good in the first half but didnt take our chances,half-time and everyones confident, then we got caught early on in the second half and end up chasing the game.I dont know how many times this has happened to us this season.
Overall it was a cracking game do.We missed spud at right full to really get forward, dan was very good but he doesnt have the pace to beat players and instead is content with chipping balls into the forwards.Martin isnt a left winger and spent the whole game cutting inside. Some great football played but we seem content with chipping the ball into keego and myler and hope that something breaks

Injuries are taking a toll, leaves us with little options. Wouldn't be surprised to see a new face or two with one possible surprise departure if whispers I've been hearing are correct.

Edit: Seems that was just speculation. The only departure is Lavine, hardly a great shock

One thing I thought was baffling during the game came from that b@stard dessie baker. If I see that man on th pitch again ill *&$%*()%$%$^&!!!
With about 5 mins to go all 11 shels players and 9 or so town players in the box including big men like Barry ferguson,Paiso,Dillo etc and that w@nker gets a free from the corner flag. The tool plays the ball outside the box to god only knows who and we lose the ball. Can anyone here give me a logical reason how anyone expects somebody to be able to find a gap through 22 players and find the net.Apart from that a real gutsy and ENCOURAGING PERFORMANCE who against anyone else would have yielded all 3 points.Hopefully Matthews sticks with this type of tactics for the season PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I reckon if Davy Byrne stays fit he'll be a real plus to our creative side, has had good games in his last two by all accounts. Can spot a pass quicker than most
