Well I've decided to start the first thread on our European travels this season.. Who's going to go to this game and how you getting there? There are five in my group travelling from Kerry to Frankfurt, Frankfurt to Riga. Going on the Wednesday and arriving back Saturday morning. It's costing us 272.96 for the flights. Anyone else travelling this route?

Cork- Stansted - Riga is a better option....but €38 dearer....
Should be going if can decide what way to go.
Looks like be little change out of €300 either way.
Will the club charter a plane? If they did a Wednesday to Friday charter for club & fans could fill it...?
Going by Ryanair, can't see the charter being cheaper....
of course if it is, I'll go mad..... :D

I think €500 euro would be good enough value for the charter. (but dont say that to my misses)

I work with a Lithuanian guy who advises that the city city are playing in (city boyyy) is run by the mafia. Something like 4 or 5 of the state prosecutors there have been bumped off in the past year.
Just something to be aware of - I'm sure it will be fine but be a bit wide those who are travelling.

A good few of us are staying in a place call "Friendly Fun Franks"!
As long as Frank doesn't get to friendly it should be a good enough spot to base ourselves for the night!
