Believe me when i say that if you believe anything else you're just plain stupid
glen crowe moved for a pay cut? is it possible for a shels fan to exist on planet earth?
and i cant wait to see the reception you get in east belfast on the 12th. maybe it will put the phrase 'hooligan' in context for you and you will give over the 'rovers are a satanic cult' garbage.

You think Glen Crowe and Colin Hawkins jumped ship for a pay-cut? No point in arguing with you in that case

I would always support any Irish team in Europe, and I think most other Eircom League fans would feel the same way. You only have to look at the support Shels got against Hidjuk and Deportivo last year as an example. A little success in Europe by any Irish club would benefit us all.
all gud to see everyone supportin EL teams in europe!!! need a good attendance for a gud atmosphere in tolka!!
i think most of the shels fans shud travel to the away leg but not entirely sure about non shels fans travellin!! lets hope so!
glentoran will be well up for it!!
CMON THE SHELS!!

The only thing that stopped me leaping out of the chair in delight when Chukinyere-Ár-Lá scored for the Maltese Hibs against Shels was the fact that I was balancing my dinner on my lap. This year, I'll wait until after full time before making dinner.
Come on ye boys in green! :D

I will be a good game and one were we have a chance of progression to the second round for the second time in a row after 37 years without doing so!
Only thing is the match is over the 12th fortnight meaning most people are on holiday to get away from it all or cant change their working hours as staffing is scarce, meaing diminished support for the teams. Some people will also say about the trouble, which is unlikely, but you just dont know!
As for the game, it is a good draw for both teams, so the gaffers will be happy and up here, it is sort of beingh hyped as north champions vs. south champions so it looks like game on and I cant wait.

Without pulling the "p - i - double-crooked letter" out of any eL fans here, do you mean supporting as in , wishing to do well, or supporting as in turning up and paying at the stiles.
With regard to the latter I probably wouldn't go to watch shels but I would definitely want them to do well, regardless of who they were playing in Europe, as , said many times here, they would be helping the league not just themselves by progressing as far as possible.
I'll vote on the poll when my question has been answered.
K
Kingdom - I see you have adopted the Glen's club badge as your avatar at present - Will this have any bearing whatsoever on who you will be supporting in the Champions League 1st Leg qualifier, or are you sticking with Shels 'regardless of who they are playing'? ;)

I'm definitely going to the away game in Belfast. It's been quite hard to convince others to go though because of the date of the fixture. Supporters of the Irish League sides were much better than us away from home during the Setanta. Let's have a large and noisy Shels support at the Oval, regardless of your Eircom League allegiances!

Spot on.
I was going to add the shams to that, but of course we are dealing here with likely scenarios! :p

Time to retract all the good words and thinkings going through my head when your match was due to kick off 60 second ago... ;)
