I'm over in Cark this weekend on a stag with a load of Welsh and English boys.

Any suggestions on where we should go pubbin and clubbin - or more importantly where we'd get into ? There's about 20 of us.

Is there a bar at Turner's Cross ? I'm mad keen to make the Longford game, but I may struggle to persuade the others. Is there any way we could get the stag a half-time mention, as that might do the trick... :D

Someone on here might be able to swing getting the stag to take part in the HT entertainment ;)

Dress up as Elvis' and run around the ground.
That worked in Barcelona at the Andorra game. ;)

If anything along those lines could be arranged that would be superb, and I'd happily sort it from our end !

Would make his first night very memorable, enable me to make my first trip to the Cross, and add another 20 punters onto the gate receipts.... :D

Now there's a bad start...

Was thinking the same myself :D

Such a shíte "insult".

Try and make the game Steve, from what I've read, the atmosphere is gonna be great.

'Cark' isn't an insult - it's the transliteration of the way people from Cork say the name of the County. People on here are forvever writing about 'the Wesht' and 'Waaaaturfurd' etc - yet those people don't start crying....? Time to relax a little people.. :D

Anyways - am mad keen to make the game, but my best chance of doing so is to drag the entire stag party along. Would be bad form if I just fecked off on everyone for 2 hours on the first night.

Any ideas on bars and clubs, or are we all just gonna be uber-sensitive about use of the word 'Cark' ? :p :D

just tell them the curry is winning the battle and you need the toilet.

you do find people reply on your topic without actually answering your question.

katy dalys or fred zepplins are too good chilling pubs to start off on.

The only Katy Dalys I've heard of is in Belfast so, no I've never been to the one in Cork.

Fred Zepplins isn't somewhere I'd suggest for a stag of twenty blokes!

Hear hear, don't worry Steve, I've used 'Cark' on this forum before, it is necessary because if I wrote 'Cork' they wouldn't recognise it! :D
