Just heard that Finn Harps supporters have raided e250 which they will be donating to the 400 club at Friday's match. This is a superb show of solidarity from real football fans. Well done to all concerned, your gesture will not be forgotten. You can hold your heads up high above those associated with certain other clubs in this league (they know who they are)whose pettiness and small-mindeness are what characterise what is so wrong with el football.

Don't forget the scumbags, the biggest problem of them all! :D :p

Where did they raid it from? :)

[Fair play to them!]

Yeah lets all give a donation to the inept idiots who spent grant money for their stadium on players wages.

From SRFC Ultras MB - "Fair play to the members of the Finn Harps Dublin Supporters Club who are donating ?250 to the 400 Club at half-time during Fridays game. Such a great show of solidarity is refreshing, and we can only applaud them for this fantastic gesture. We always knew we had great friends at Harps, and this only goes to prove it."

Cheers again to all at Harps. We gave money to Harps a few years ago and it's really nice to see that a good deed doesn't go unrewarded. A lesson some other clubs could learn.

And D2 Red - "the inept idiots" are long gone from Rovers, this money will be going to the 400 Club which is the fans group which has kept Rovers alive over the last few months. You should try getting rid of some "inept idiots" yourselves. ;)

I gave a donation to Rovers last month (twice if you include paying in to Dalyer) and was trying to organise a collection at the RSC (although some suggested any coins donated would be thrown back at us as in Tolka Nov 03  ). Little did I know at the time that our own club was worse off. Can I have my money back now, please? :(

Yeah the Dublin FHSC will make a presentation on Friday evening.

We are eternally grateful for Rovers' gesture that day in Morton Statium just after our debt was announced.

Rovers fans helped us in our hour of need and I'm pleased to see the gesture being repaid

We have not forgotten that donation from the Rovers fans at a time when Harps were in dire financial trouble, this is why we at the supporters club in Dublin have decided to make this donation. Think it will be done by myself and a few other members of the supporters club at half time at Fridays match.

Again, nice one lads and looking forward to welcoming you on Friday.

Bluemovie - I assume that you were at our quiz the other week, it was a much appreciated gesture and as soon as our multi, multi, multi-millionaire new owner is in place we'll pay back the compliment. ;)

No. Not at the quiz. Donated through a Rovers fan I know. If we could have about a million back, it would be nice, thanks. :D

Superb gesture from the Harps boys, especially given the league positions of both clubs. Hopefully we can both start winning games and jump over Pats and Bray!
