what is goin on with charleville cannot believe they gave a walkover in a lawson cup semi. it is a disgrace. surely they could have got some sort of eleven together. they must have some sort of reason for doing it.no club should treat such a high profile game with such disrespect

Watch pike humiliate Park on Sunday. They have beeen training hard for this and will have a full squad to choose from. Pa mul is supposedly bringing in a few players next year so alot of the current squad will like to leave their mark on this season. Go on the hoops.

Nabs to grab a hatrick too.

I heard they have Ian Bennis & Mark Holohan in the bag for next year, any truth in that ?

Hate to burst your Bubble but he is not staying with the Boro.
My cousin was in Templemore with him this year & he said it will be Fairview or Pike as he wants to win trophies.
He is grateful to the Boro for giving him his chance in the Premier league but feels he has repaid them by staying last year when things were very bad.

He will not be signing this year & who can blame him especially with barry conway & jason o'connor not signing.

You could be right, the rumour mill will be going round about him though as he is a class player & will have plenty options no doubt.
I think he's a bit too good for the Clare league though

He will not get on Pike or fairview so he has no option, should these posts not be under transfer rumours?

grateful to the boro, he is there because he could not get on the view team last year, he could not give a toss about the boro.where is kevin fitzpatrick going if bennis signs with Pike, would Bennis not sign for the boro with hanlon as manager? or will they continue with Hartigan in goals?

It is funny that you only hear from the pike lot when they are doing well or in with a chance of winning something.Nabs for a hatrick a hatrick of not scoring against park id say.

If this was the case we would be constsntly hearing from the Pike as they have been in with a chance of winning something all year & are still now at the end of the year

Paddy Cusack originally fixed game for last Sunday week. Then with the promise of a few votes changed the game to Thursday to accomadate CvILLE (WEDDING OF jAMES fOLEY)
The LDMC forced Cusack to switch game back to Thursday and Cville refused to field.
Looks like they are gone as they were notified of change 48 hours before kick off aS per rule.

yes they had four days to lodge an objection now.season full of objections, amazing the way pike wanted it off tuesday night and there was no problem but when charleville wanted if off thursday night for a good reason they wouldnt postpone the game, typical of LDMC, a farce.

I don't think LDMC or Pike can be blamed for this one.
Pike went through the proper channels.
Charleville went to old buddy P cUSACK thinking he would sort them as payback fopr giving Balla walkover towards the seasons end

The league is over & Balla have won it so just let it go pal. :p it's eating you up.
Alternatively go home put the plug in your bath tub & stick your head under the water until you stop breathing.

Slippers you crack me up. Fairview did it for years why not Balla, they had the most points so they win the league. Pike had plenty of chances to close it out but failed.

Charleville have won their objection and will play Pike at home next friday to see who plays park in the final. Pike will not appeal! you heard it here first. I hope pike destroy the cork b*£"!(*s.

Any truth in Droog , Finucane and Frankie Stewart going to Regional next year? I thought the two ex mungret lads fitted in well at pike , but who knows.

Oh dear, another poor season for Pike and their over optimistic band of followers....still any club (edit : team) that neglects to take on board an underage setup and decides instead to rely on wholescale poaching to satisfy its ego deserves nothing less than failure, in fact it would please me greatly to see them win nothing more often!
Question : Name the last Pike Rovers player to play with Pike?!?!

Pike were not poor. As in the other games against Park this season they failed to take any of the chances they created, where as Park hammered theirs home. Two completely different styles on offer as well and have to say Parks was far more effective (obiviously) They had to soak up alot of early pressure but kept it together and gave a great account of themselvs in the second half, with a virtual bag of tricks from Sean Mcdonald, he had them all in a tizz :) y well done to Park

Bunrattyrat i am surprised that you feel that some of your locals did not have it in them to beat pike. there are some ex-bunratty players playing with park as been stated on previous threads. You doubted these guys ability!

Most Pike "supporters" only turn up at finals so, in fairness, how was he to know they played the previous Sunday.
